27-28 AUGUST • NAARM | MELBOURNE
Student Segment: David Mazzeo
In my talk, I'll share my journey of building Shuttle - a next-generation public transport app for Apple platforms. You'll hear about my development process, from how I turned it from a small idea I had after Live Activities were announced, to a 9-month TestFlight period where I worked closely with the community, through today where it's achieved 1.6K+ paid downloads and frequently hovers in the top 3 paid travel apps on the Store. Along the way, you'll also hear a bit about my time developing on Apple platforms as a whole, such as how my skills have developed, and what it's like integrating bleeding-edge features in between a Dub Dub and a major OS launch (like I did with Foundation Models and Liquid Glass in Shuttle).
